IGNOU January Session 2024: Re-registration deadline extended again; know major details here

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) extended the re-registration deadline for the January 2024 session till 10 March. Eligible and interested candidates who want to get admission to IGNOU’s programmes can fill out the application form by visiting the official website- ignou.ac.in.

As per the schedule, the registration process for IGNOU's January 2024 session commenced on 5 December 2023, in online mode. Initially, the deadline for completing the admission form was 31 January, which was later extended to 15 February and further extended until 29 February. Candidates can now apply for ODL programmes with a late fee of Rs 200.

Candidates interested in the ODL programmes can complete their registration at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, while those seeking admission to an online mode program should register at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

1. Visit the official website- ignouiop.samarth.edu.in
2. On the homepage, click on the January 2024 registration and admission link
3. Fill in the required details and click submit
4. Login with the generated credentials during registration
5. Fill in the application form with the required information
6. Pay the application fees and submit
7. Download a copy of the form and take a printout of the same for future reference
