IGNOU Admission 2023: Registration deadline for January session extended; know details inside

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for the January 2023 session till 20 February 2023. Candidates will be able to apply for various courses offered by the university on its official website of IGNOU - ignou.ac.in.

In an official tweet IGNOU said, “The last date for fresh admission for January 2023 cycle is extended till 20th February 2023. ODL Program Admission Portal: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in . Online Program Admission Portal: https://ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.”

Earlier, the last date to apply for fresh admission to the January 2023 session was 10 February. For online programmes, candidates will have to apply at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. Whereas, for Online and Distance Learning (ODL) courses, aspirants will have to register at ignousamarth.edu.in.

IGNOU January Application Form: Steps to apply

1. Visit the admission portal of IGNOU- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
2. Click “New Registration” link
3. Fill in all the required details
4. Key in username and password to login
5. Pay the application fees as required
6. Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for further use

Meanwhile, IGNOU will hold a campus placement drive on 15 February. The registration for IGNOU campus placement drive can be done between 9:30 am and 10:30 am and the pre-placement talk will be held at 11 am at the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Convention Center, IGNOU Maidan Garhi Campus. The IGNOU campus placement drive is being conducted for Air India SATS and APTARA.
