IDP Education is back with the second season of its Education Conclave 2021. The two-day virtual conference is scheduled for November 23 and 24 and will be attended by more than 30 industry experts and keynote speakers from around the globe.
This year's education conclave focuses on the latest developments and innovative solutions adopted to facilitate the smooth delivery of higher education. The discussions will revolve around technology's impact on the international student placement industry, along with insights on sought-after study destinations like the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, and Australia.
The two days are packed with 12 knowledge-sharing sessions that will also throw light on topics such as the 'role of an education counsellor in shaping students' global dreams', 'insights and trends in the international education sector', 'Students Essentials from IDP for a smooth transition of a student from home country to their new destination', and 'strategies to score higher band in IELTS'. The conference will conclude with a special session on 'IDP Alumni Connect: Journey from dreams to global opportunity'.
Commenting over the upcoming conclave and its offerings, Piyush Kumar, regional director (South Asia and Mauritius), IDP Education, said, "We know how the pandemic has changed the way the world used to operate. While last year was focused on coming to terms with the new reality and making the best of it; this year is about excelling. The topics have been carefully chosen to help our students, parents and viewers understand the ongoing transition and how to use it to their benefit and have a career of their dreams. The universities are more welcoming than ever, making it smoother and easier for international students to cope and adapt, the governments are on their toes to offer any support possible, and the countries are re-opening borders with utmost safety measures in place. We hope our viewers will be able to find answers to any concerns that they have from this conference.”
Among the dignitaries and keynote speakers, who will be part of the event, include Piyush Kumar, Neil Pearson, chief digital officer, IDP Education, Brett Galt-Smith, counsellor (education and research), Australian High Commission, New Delhi, Sally Wheeler, deputy vice-chancellor, international strategy, The Australian National University, Andrew Houey, director, international marketing, Study Adelaide, Merlin Crossley, deputy vice-chancellor (academic and student life), The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.
