The ICSE 2022 exams are knocking at the door and most students are busy with revision. Identifying the important portions of the vast syllabus may seem like a tricky task but specimen papers released by the Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) may come in handy for self-evaluation and prove to be a great tool for time management.
The specimen papers for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Semester 2 examinations are available on the official website of the council. Every year, the council uploads specimen papers for all subjects. Students can download specimen papers of the last five years for each subject.
Teachers recommend solving specimen papers as last-minute preparation. “The key to excel in anything is to practise it over and over again. Continuous practice helps one retain information better and absorb it deeper. It helps to internalise the information. Practice should not only be quantitative but also qualitative,” said Megha Dokania Baptist, English teacher at St. Vincent’s High and Technical School in Asansol.

· Solving specimen papers can be a great practice to check writing speed and timing.
· One can go through the answers once the specimen papers are solved for last-minute revision.

“Board exams cause a lot of stress and anxiety among students. The panacea to all these problems lies in robust practice of the specimen papers followed by a productive timetable in a watertight schedule,” Baptist said.

Step 4: From the Specimen Question Papers ICSE—Class X, click on Semester 2-2022
Step 5: Specimen papers are listed subject-wise. Click on the subject you wish to download.

The ICSE 2022 Semester 2 exams begin on April 25 with English Language- English Paper-I and end on May 23 with Commercial Studies (Group II Elective). Each paper is an hour and 30 minutes long.
