Not satisfied with ICSE and ISC Marks? Here's how you can apply for recheck, re-evaluation

The results of Class 10 ICSE and Class 12 ISC examination have been declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) on Monday morning. As the results were declared, it was found that 99.47 percent students have qualified the ICSE examination while the pass percentage of ISC examination stands at 98.19 percent.

The board will also allow the students to apply for a recheck and re-evaluation of their answer scripts for subjects they are not satisfied with the marks received in the examination.

To apply for rechecking of their papers, candidates will have to pay Rs 1000 per paper (Both for ICSE and ISC). However, if any student wishes to apply for re-evaluation of their answer scripts, they will have to pay Rs 1500 per paper (both for ICSE and ISC).

The board has already opened the re-check module on its official website cisce.org and the last date for receipt of application is May 10, while the re-evaluation module will remain open for only 24 hours after the declaration of the recheck results.

How to apply for recheck?

Step 1: Visit the official website of CISCE at cisce.org

Step 2: Click on the link mentioning 'Public Services'

Step 3: Logon to the CISCE Service Portal using registered email id and password.

Step 4: Enter all the required details like subject name, paper name etc

Step 5: Pay fee

Step 6: Submit your application

A total of 2,43,617 candidates had appeared in the ICSE examination while the number stood at 99,901 for ISC. This includes 1,30,506 boys and 1,13,111 boys.

This year, girls have outshone boys with 99.65% girls passing the ICSE examination. The pass percentage of boys, on the other hand stands at 99.31.
