The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced on its official website that the registration dates for the CA Foundation Course examination 2022 are being extended. The decision to extend the date comes after the recent delay in the declaration of the class 12th result, which was published recently.
For the benefit of students, the Director of ICAI has extended the last registration to 14 August 2022. Interested candidates can register online on or before the last date of registration. Those who have not yet received their class 12 mark sheets, can still register provisionally and submit the mark sheet to the Additional Secretary, Examination Department (ICAI) latest by 10 September 2022.
How to apply for ICAI Foundation Examination?
Candidates who are interested in appearing for the Foundation examination, to be held in December 2022, can follow the given steps to register for the course.
Step 1: Visit the official website of ICAI
Step 2: If you are a new user then you have to register on the website
Step 3: After registration, you will receive your login credentials on your registered email ID
Step 4: Log in to the portal and fill out the application form with all the relevant information
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the application form
Step 6: After submitting the application form, download it as a PDF and take a printout for future reference
About CA Foundation Examination
Chartered Accountant (CA) Foundation Course is the first step in the journey to becoming a CA. ICAI conducts CA Foundation Examinations twice a year to grant admissions into the course. The CA Foundation Course covers mathematics, economics, accounting and business law. The syllabus is divided into 4 categories which are as follows: Principles and Practice of Accounting, Business Laws and Business Correspondence & Reporting, Business Mathematics & Logical Reasoning & Statistics, and Business Economics & Commercial Knowledge. The exact examination dates are yet to be announced by the ICAI.
