The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has made a significant announcement regarding the application process for the Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (IBPS CRP PO/MT 2023) and Specialist Officer (CRP SO 2023) positions. Candidates now have an extended opportunity to apply for these exams, as the application deadline has been pushed to August 28. The previous cutoff date was August 21.
While the extension offers added flexibility, IBPS emphasises that all other terms and conditions for both recruitment exams remain unaltered, ensuring consistency and transparency. Aspiring candidates can complete their registration on ibps.in.
Correspondingly, the fee payment window has also been aligned with the new application deadline, concluding on August 28.
The tentative examination schedule highlights the release of IBPS PO prelims call letters in September. The PO exam is projected to take place in September or October. Specific dates and timings, alongside call letters, will be announced in due course.
For general candidates, the application fee for IBPS PO 2023 and SO 2023 is ₹175 for SC, ST, and PwD applicants, while all other candidates are required to pay ₹850.
The total number of vacancies for IBPS PO/MT positions stands at 462. Similarly, under various posts within IBPS SO, a total of 1,402 vacancies are open for potential candidates.
