The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is set to close the registration window for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in government higher secondary schools today i.e. on 14 August. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill out the application form by visiting the official website- hpsc.gov.in.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3,069 PGT vacancies across 31 subjects for both the Rest of Haryana (ROH) cadre and the Mewat cadre. To be eligible, candidates' age should be between 18 years old and 42 years old to be eligible for the HPSC PGT 2024 exam, as of the closing date for submitting online application forms. As per the official notice, applicants should have completed matriculation in Hindi or Sanskrit, or have passed Class 12, Bachelor of Arts (BA), or Master of Arts (MA) with Hindi as one of the subjects. Candidates are required to possess a certificate of qualification in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or the School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).

  2. Go to the ‘Advertisements’ tab on homepage
  3. Click on the application link for PGT 2024 posts
  4. Fill in the form, upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee
  5. Download and take a printout of the application for future reference

The application fee for unreserved category male candidates is Rs 1,000, while reserved category candidates need to pay Rs 250.
