The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is set to conclude the application window for Haryana Civil Services (HCS) 2024 exam on 31 January. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for HCS (Judicial Branch) examination 2024 through the official website- hpsc.gov.in.
The HPSC HCS recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 174 posts (129 actual vacancies + 45 anticipated vacancies) of Civil Judge in Haryana Civil Service department. As per the schedule, the HPSC HCS preliminary examination is set to be conducted on 3 March 2024.
Interested candidates with a Bachelor of Law degree from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) can apply for the HCS (Judicial Branch) exam 2024. Candidates must be between 21 to 42 years of age, on or before 31 January 2024. However, age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per govt norms.
Candidates should note that the HPSC HCS preliminary examination will be conducted for a duration of two hours. The exam will have a total of 125 questions and each question will carry 4 marks. For every wrong answer, 0.8 marks or 1/5th marks, will be deducted.
