Amity University Mumbai organised an international conference on how to pave the way for a self-reliant India amidst the COVID-19 pandemic on December 22 and 23.
Inaugurated by Amity vice-chancellor V. K. Sharma and pro vice-chancellor A. W. Santhosh Kumar, the conference focused on how the pandemic has affected the global economy and how the world is coping with it by implementing innovative practices.
Speakers at the conference spoke on how the pandemic has enhanced income inequality by limiting economic resources and global businesses. They also talked about various related themes like banking, financial management, inclusivity in management, trade and economy, paradigm shifts in business, media, society and global business scenarios.
Another session focused on how technology in the banking sector can contribute to the economic development of a country.
The conference also discussed post-pandemic global business scenarios, focusing on the global business environment and its problems. It also included many areas of international commercial activity, international commerce and global economic development techniques.
