The Global Media Education Council will conclude the registrations for the Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET) 2024 tomorrow, on December 2, 2023. Students who haven't registered yet can submit their applications on the official GMCET website, gmcet.org. Scheduled for online mode, the GMCET 2024 exam is set to take place on December 3, allowing candidates the convenience of taking the test from the comfort of their homes.
Eligibility criteria mandate that candidates must have cleared class 12 or an equivalent education with a minimum of 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% for scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and other backward classes (OBC). Students appearing for the Class 12 exam in 2024 are also eligible to apply.
Additionally, candidates with a three or four-year diploma from an AICTE-approved university, securing a minimum of 50% marks, are eligible to apply.
Steps to apply for GMCET 2024:
1. Visit the official website at gmcet.org.
2. On the homepage, click on the registration option.
3. Complete the registration form by entering details such as name, email id, and contact information.
4. Log in using the credentials generated during registration.
5. Fill in the application form with the required details.
6. Upload necessary documents and make the required payment.
7. Download and retain a printout of the confirmation page for reference.
