After the registration period for the exam closes on September 29, students can apply online for the application procedure by paying a late fee until October 13.
For the GATE 2024 exam, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, the arts, or the humanities. Candidates can take the exam if they are in the third or higher year of their degree program. They should confirm that their certification is recognized as being comparable to BE, BTech, BArch, or B.Planning by MoE, AICTE, UGC, and UPSC.
