The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 exam will be conducted on 4, 5, 11 and 12 February, 2023. It is a national level entrance exam to test the comprehensive understanding of students of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts for admissions into Master’s programme. This year, the exam is being conducted by IIT Kanpur.
As per the schedule, GATE 2023 exam admit card will be issued on 3 January, 2023. The results will be announced on 16 March, 2023. The scorecard will be available for download from 21 March, 2023. The results will be available on the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in.
GATE 2023 exam will take place in two shifts- the morning shift will start from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
GATE 2023 will be conducted in over 200 cities in India. The exam was to be conducted in eight international cities however, seven of them withdrew due to operational reasons.

12 February 2023- CE1, ST (morning shift); CE2, MN (afternoon shift)
GATE 2023 paper is for 100 marks. The computer based test is for a total of 3 hours duration.
