The Navodaya Vidayalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the deadline for Manipur aspirants to submit their online applications for the NVS Class 11 Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST 2023). Students can now register for the test on the official website, navodaya.gov.in, until July 20 if they wish to apply for NVS Class 11 Lateral Entry.
The NVS official website stated that "the period for submission of online application form is further extended up to 20.07.2023 (Thursday) for the candidates of State of Manipur." There are 649 NVS in total at this time. According to the statement, only students who completed Class 10 during the sessions from January to December 2022 and from April 2022 to March 2023 are qualified to apply for Class 11 LEST.
The open seats for the academic year 2023–2024 will be used to make the selection for NVS Class 11 entrance. In the absence of competent individuals, open positions will be filled in accordance with NVS standards.
The district-by-district merit list for the students who were provisionally chosen will be made public following the test. A state-level common merit list will be created after students have been chosen to fill the open positions in the district's JNV.
