The National Board of Examinations is scheduled to issue the admit card for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) today, 25 July. Candidates who have registered for the examinations will be able to download their admit cards by visiting the official website at nbe.edu.in.

After the admit card is released, candidates are required to download their admit card from the NBEMS website and affix firmly their recent (not more than 3 months old) passport-size photograph in the space provided on the admit card.

The result of FMGE 2023 will be announced by 30 August 2023. NBE will release result in PDF format, comprising details such as roll number, application ID, marks scored, and qualifying status. Candidates who score 50 per cent marks, i.e. 150 out of a total of 300 will be declared qualified for the exam. Those who will qualify will be able to collect the pass certificate from NBE's office.
As per the regulations, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act."
