The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, has extended the deadline for payment of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 application fee until 2PM today, November 21. Aspirants who have registered for the law entrance exam but are yet to complete their fee payment can do so through the official website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
In an official notification, NLU Delhi stated, “The registration for AILET 2025 has been closed. Candidates who initiated their registration but have not yet made the payment for AILET 2025 can complete their registration by paying the fee up to 2:00 PM on November 21, 2024.”
AILET 2025 Application Fees
The application fee for the general category is INR 3,500, while candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are required to pay INR 1,500. Payments can be made online using debit/ credit cards, net banking, or UPI.
NLU Delhi emphasised that no fee payment requests will be accepted after the 2PM deadline. “No further, chance for making the payment will be given,” the university cautioned.
AILET 2025 Exam Details
AILET 2025 is scheduled for December 8, 2024, from 2PM to 4PM. The test will be conducted in offline, pen-and-paper mode for admission to undergraduate (BA LLB Honours), postgraduate (LLM), and doctoral (PhD) law programmes for the 2025-26 academic session.
AILET 2025 Exam Pattern
The two-hour exam will feature 150 multiple choice questions across the following sections:
1. English
2. Current Affairs and General Knowledge
3. Logical Reasoning
Each correct answer will earn candidates 1 mark, while incorrect answers will incur a penalty of 0.25 marks.
The registration window for fresh applications closed on November 18. The university has announced that AILET 2025 admit cards will be available for download starting November 28.
