Exam Format and Marking Scheme:

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): The NEET UG 2024 question paper will consist entirely of MCQs.

Total Marks and Questions: The exam will be graded for a total of 720 marks with 200 MCQs.

Section-wise Breakup: The paper will be divided into four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each section will have 45 questions.

Section A and B: Each subject will be further divided into Section A (35 questions) and Section B (15 questions). Within Section B, students must attempt only 10 questions.

Attempting Questions: Candidates will need to attempt only 180 questions (45 from each subject) out of the total 200.

Marking: Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking, with one mark deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
