The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is anticipated to announce the revised date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 this week, as per sources. The exam is likely to be conducted in mid-August. The official date will be posted on the NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.
A meeting took place on Monday in the Union Home Ministry, focusing on the preparedness for the online NEET PG exam.
Earlier, the Union Health ministry postponed the initial NEET PG exam date from June 23 to an unspecified later date as a ‘precautionary measure’ following concerns about the integrity of competitive exams. The ministry emphasised the need for a thorough review of the NEET-PG examination processes conducted by NBEMS.
Following the rescheduling, NBEMS is also expected to issue new admit cards.
NEET PG is a critical entrance examination for Postgraduate Medical courses across various institutions in the country.
