Individuals aspiring to secure admission in design programmes at the National Institute of Fashion Technology must register for NIFT 2024.

The NIFT entrance exam 2024 will include various courses, including BDes, BFTech, MDes, MFM, and MFTech. Before applying for admission, candidates must thoroughly review the NIFT eligibility criteria for 2024. All eligible candidates are required to participate in the entrance examination scheduled as per the NIFT exam date for 2024.

The admission process for each programme is outlined as follows

  • BDes: Candidates will undergo an entrance examination consisting of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates based on exam performance will proceed to a Situation Test.
  • BFTech: Aspirants seeking BFtech admission will participate in an entrance examination comprising only the GAT.
  • MDes: Candidates for the PG Design program will appear for CAT and GAT. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Personal Interview (PI).
  • MFM: Candidates will participate in an exam consisting of GAT. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a Personal Interview (PI).
  • MFTech: Admission to MFTech programmes is based on GAT. Shortlisted candidates from the entrance examination will undergo a Personal Interview (PI).
