World's largest private educational testing and measurement organisation, ETS announced a significant double-digit month-on-month growth in students using TOEFL® and GRE® tests, following its partnership with international student recruitment leader, ApplyBoard. The collaboration between the two has contributed hugely towards achieving the milestone by offering information-based counselling on academic exams that support studying abroad options.
ETS and ApplyBoard’s partnership continues to engage and help Indian students across the country with greater access to test options to succeed in their international education aspirations. As part of this partnership, ApplyBoard promotes the distribution of TOEFL and GRE tests through its network of counsellors among prospective students planning to study abroad. This has also helped thousands of students in multiple countries utilising ETS’s range of tests and test prep options and is already showing a growth in numbers in India as well.

Together, ApplyBoard, including its affiliates and ETS India, the India-based subsidiary of ETS, hold workshops in India to facilitate the training of teachers and counsellors. These workshops educate attendees about the TOEFL test, the testing methodology, test structure, scoring and how it stands apart from other English-language proficiency tests. To date, ETS India has conducted a series of such workshops in Amritsar, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana and Ludhiana where more than 200 trainers and counsellors learned about the recent enhancements in the TOEFL iBT® test.
