The Jamia Milia Islamia University has rescheduled the Entrance Test at the university for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The decision has been taken keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. An official notification have been issued by the university in this regard.
The exams have been rescheduled for June 9, 10 and 11 and will be held in various shifts. While MA (Economics), MA (Applied Psychology), Diploma in Engineering (Regular/Self-financed) and MBA have been scheduled on June 9, BEd, MA (Human Resource Management), MA Arabic have been scheduled on June 10. On the other hand, entrance exams for subjects like MA (Social Work), MA(English), BSc Aeronautics (Mechanical/Avionics), MCA and MA (History) have been scheduled for June 11.
Earlier, the university had announce May 24, 25 and 26 as the date of the entrance exam.
The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held in seven phases throughout the country.The polls will commence on April 19 and will conclude on June 1, 2024.
The counting will take place on June 4, 2024.
