In a significant development, the Indian Air Force has initiated the online application process for the Agniveervayu Intake 1/2025 under the Agnipath scheme. Aspiring candidates can apply online through the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in, starting today, January 17, until the deadline on February 6, 2024.

As per the official notification, “Indian Air Force invites ONLINE applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for selection test from 17 March 2024 onwards to join the IAF as an AGNIVEERVAYU. The number and employability of female candidates will be decided as per service requirement.”

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates born between January 02, 2004 and July 02, 2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
2. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.

The comprehensive IAF Agniveer Vayu selection process comprises three phases: a computer-based test (CBT), a physical fitness test (PFT), adaptability tests 1 and 2, followed by a thorough medical examination. To initiate the application process, candidates must submit a registration fee of ₹550 in online mode.
