DU PG Admission 2022: Last date to confirm round 2 allocated seats today; know more here

Delhi University will shut down its window for students to accept the seats allotted to them in the DU PG second merit list 2022 for getting admission to the postgraduate programmes across different colleges from today onwards. Students who have been allotted seats can accept the same from the official website- pgadmission.uod.ac.in. Students must note that the last date to pay the fees is 10 December, 2022. DU will release its PG third admission list on 12 December, 2022. Students can apply for the DU PG admission against the third merit list 2022 between 13 to 14 December, 2022.

DU has also declared that it will be holding postgraduate admissions via the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) from its next academic session. The Executive Council of the university has recently passed a resolution for this on 8 December, 2022. In November, the Academic Council of the university passed a proposal to change the admission pattern for PG programmes.

In its recent admission system, 50 percent of admissions will be done directly from students who completed their bachelor's degrees from DU on merit basis in their qualifying examinations.

The remaining 50 percent of seats of the university are currently filled on the basis of student ranks in the DU postgraduate entrance examination. "The Executive Council has approved to recommend PG admissions through CUET with half of the seats remaining under merit-based admission for students of DU," said a council member to PTI.
