By the end of May, Delhi University intends to start the Common Seat Allocation System admissions procedure for admissions to undergraduate courses, a senior official announced on Saturday. For admissions to undergraduate and graduate degrees, the university will open two different portals.
Undergraduate and postgraduate programme admissions will be handled by CSAS (UG) 2023 and CSAS (PG) 2023, respectively. Students who want to attend DU must take the CUET(UG)-2023 and CUET(PG)-2023 exams and register on the DU's CSAS UG and PG portals. According to the spokesperson, the university is hoping that the application process would be "smoother" this year.
"Last year, we used the CUET to administer admissions for the first time. The admissions (process) will be easier this year. We are also prepared to undertake the first-ever PG admission. We are also sure of that", the official continued. The institution will be using the Common University Entrance Test for the first time in order to admit students to post-graduate studies. Through CUET-UG, it accepted students into its 70 colleges last year.
