The Delhi University on Friday i.e. 4 November extended the last date for inter-college migration for the academic session of 2022-23 to 10 November. However, the condition is that the migration will only be allowed in semester 3.
The varsity clearly declared that migration will only be allowed when the results of semesters 1 and 2 are declared, ‘in terms of the provisions of Ordinance-4 of the Ordinances of the University.’ The university had already its begun the academic session 2022-23 from 2 November for freshers.
The first semester is supposed to conclude on 19 March and the second semester will commence on 20 March and end in July. Due to the delay in the commencement of the academic year, there will be no break between the first two semesters. There will be a two-day break between the second and third semesters. To avoid any delay in the academic session, the university has come up with this decision. Earlier in pre-pandemic years, the session used to commence in July-August.
