The annual exams for Classes VI-IX and XI will be held offline at the school
Classes X and XII pre-board examinations to be held offline too

Don Bosco School, Kolkata issued a notice on February 12 notifying all students of Classes VI to XII about offline annual and pre-board examinations.

The examinations will commence on February 28 and end on March 11. Students of Classes VI to IX will be taking their exams together in one slot and X to XII will be given another slot.

In the release, the principal of the school, Bikash Mondal, has said, “After much discussion and taking into consideration all aspects, we have decided to conduct the annual examinations and the pre-boards in school, students being present physically. Therefore, kindly prepare the students mentally and make the necessary arrangements for them to come to school to write the aforesaid examinations.”

However, the school has not yet announced the timetable and has mentioned that it will be released soon.

According to the release, the situation is gradually coming under control and steps have been taken to resume proper imparting of knowledge to students. The school has tried its best to ensure learning takes place for the students via online mode.

The school has assured to take all necessary precautions against COVID-19 to make it safe for the students to appear for offline examinations.
