For those students who have not been able to complete their degrees, Delhi University (DU) is giving them the opportunity to return to university to take their exams once more.

An executive council meeting that was held on January 28 made the proposal, which has since been cleared, along with the discussions for the university’s centenary celebrations.

DU's centenary year will begin from May 1 and will see year-long events planned by the university which will continue till May 1, 2023.

Students will be given two chances between May 1, 2022 and March 1, 2023 to reapply for their degrees.

There was also a discussion on the fact that now the papers are held under the semester system and the syllabus has changed. “We can do it for those students who have been at DU in the last four to five years," said Rajpal Singh Panwar.
