In a crucial update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to close the image correction window for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 on January 6, 2024. Candidates need to adhere to specified photograph guidelines available on the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Ensure your application complies with standards such as passport-sized photos with 80% face visibility against a white background (10kb to 200kb). Notably, spectacles are permissible only if used regularly, while Polaroid and computer-generated photos will not be accepted. Failure to meet these criteria may result in application rejection.
Applicants are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport-sized colour photographs with a white background, and attestation is not required. Additionally, any attempts to submit fabricated or manipulated photos will lead to rejection, marking the candidate's use of unfair means.
The image correction link, accessible since January 4, 2024, will soon close its doors. As a reminder, JEE Main Session 1 examinations are scheduled to take place from January 24 to February 1, 2024, at various centres nationwide. Detailed exam city information will be available in the second week of January, with admit cards released three days before the exams commence.
Act promptly to correct your images via the direct link before the deadline.
