The Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate courses (CUET UG) recorded 76.48 percent attendance in its first phase exams that was held between 15 July and 20 July, 2022. The official data released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) also mentions that Bihar has the highest attendance rate with 84.35 per cent of the registered candidates appearing for their papers.
Apart from Bihar, the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Jharkhand and Haryana also recorded the high attendance percentages.
CUET UG exams have so far taken place on 15, 16, 19 and 20 July . The second phase of these exams are scheduled to be conducted on 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 20 August.
The Indian states of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh registered the lowest attendance for the examinations, followed by Sikkim and Mizoram.
The Common University Entrance Test is an all-India test organised by the National Testing Agency for admissions into various undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated, certification and diploma courses across the country. The examinations are conducted every year and the marks are required by reputed Central universities of the country at the time of admission.
