The Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2022 will be held on July 15, 16, 19, 20, August 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10. The tests will be conducted at exam centres located across 554 cities in India and 13 cities outside India.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the dates for CUET-UG 2022 in a notice issued on June 22.
Registration for the exam will open 9am onwards on June 23 and close at 11.50pm on June 24. Interested applicants can register themselves for the exam through an online application form available on the official CUET website – https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
Applicants are required to register with personal details, their 10+2 exam details, and select their preferred centre and medium. Additionally, applicants can find all necessary details pertaining to the exam on the official NTA website.
CUET UG 2022 will be held in the computer-based test (CBT) format and students can appear for the test in any of the following 13 languages — English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Assamese, and Punjabi; or from any of these other 19 languages, including Russian, Japanese, French, German and Santhali. Students can select any combination out of 27 unique subjects.
The NTA stated in its report that so far 9,50,804 candidates have registered for admission into 86 universities out of which there are 43 central universities, 13 state universities, 12 deemed universities and 18 private universities, adding that an applicant has applied in more than 5 universities and there are more than 54,000 unique combinations of subjects chosen by various candidates on an average.
