The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to conclude the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2024 tomorrow on the official website, pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. CUET PG 2024 is the gateway for admission into postgraduate programs across central and participating universities.
Applicants have until 11:50 pm on January 25 to complete the registration process, including the payment of the registration fee. The NTA will open the correction window from January 27 to 29. The admit cards for CUET PG 2024 will be available from March 7, with the exam scheduled to take place between March 11 and 28.
The NTA also announced that 230 universities, comprising central, state, private, and deemed universities, will facilitate admissions for PG programs through CUET PG 2024. Notable institutions participating include Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Allahabad, Aligarh Muslim University, Central University of Hyderabad, and Jamia Millia Islamia.
CUET PG 2024 Exam Timings and Changes:
This year, the NTA has introduced changes to the CUET PG exam timings and pattern. Previously a 2-hour exam, CUET PG 2024 will now be conducted in 1 hour and 45 minutes. The exam will take place in three shifts: Shift 1 (9 am to 10:45 am), Shift 2 (12:45 pm to 2:30 pm), and Shift 3 (4:30 pm to 6:15 pm).
The exam will be held in 324 cities across India and abroad, with 24 cities designated for international test centers. This marks a slight reduction from the 337 cities where the exam took place last year. As the registration deadline nears, candidates are urged to complete the process for a chance to secure postgraduate admissions through CUET PG 2024.
