The registration window for the Common University Entrance Test - Post graduation (CUET PG 2024) will close today, as announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates have until January 25 to deposit the necessary fees through the official website, pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
The entrance examination, designed for admission to postgraduate courses offered by central universities and other participating institutes, will be held from March 11 to 28 at different cities nationwide.
Following the closure of CUET PG 2024 applications, the NTA will open a correction window from January 27 to 29. This window allows candidates to make correction to their application details.
It must further be noted that recently, Gurugram in Haryana and Srinagar in Uttarakhand have been added to the list of CUET PG exam cities, bringing the total number of exam cities to 326. Candidates who wish to modify their chosen exam city after the application deadline will have the option to select these two cities or others when the correction window is activated.
Other changes that have been introduced by the NTA for CUET PG 2024, include changes in the exam timings and pattern. The exam, which was previously a 2-hour duration, will now be conducted in 1 hour and 45 minutes. The three shifts for the exam are scheduled as follows: Shift 1 (9 am to 10:45 am), Shift 2 (12:45 pm to 2:30 pm), and Shift 3 (4:30 pm to 6:15 pm).
