Candidates who wish to appear for Common University Entrance Test-PG 2022 can submit their applications online till June 18.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to introduce the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for post-graduate courses also from this year.
“CUET for PG admissions will also be introduced from the 2022 academic session. The exam will be conducted in the third week of July,” UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar said.
Unlike CUET UG, CUET for PG admissions will not be mandatory. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced that it will allow admissions to post-graduate and advanced diploma courses of proficiency programmes through CUET, while Delhi University (DU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) have said they will not conduct the admission process through CUET-PG this year.
CUET, to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), will provide a single-window opportunity to students to seek admission to 42 universities across the country.
CUET PG 2022 will be conducted in English and Hindi in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. The duration of the exam will be two hours.
After submitting the online application forms, the applicable fee has to be paid online through the payment gateway using debit/credit cards, net banking or UPI by 11.50pm on June 19. Applicants may carry out corrections in particulars of the application forms from June 20 to June 22.
