The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the correction window for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2023. Starting today, candidates can make edits to their CSIR Joint UGC NET application forms on the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Following a recent extension of the CSIR NET form deadline, the NTA has provided a two-day period for corrections. The CSIR NET exam is scheduled to take place in a computer-based test (CBT) format on December 26, 27, and 28.
Upon the closure of the edit facility, the NTA will issue the CSIR UGC NET admit card. In the event of any discrepancies in the candidate's particulars, photograph, or signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, candidates are advised to contact the Helpline between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm, as stated by the testing agency.
CSIR NET Application 2023: Editable Details:
Candidates have the option to edit the following details in the application form during the correction period:
- Name: Corrections for spelling mistakes in the candidate's name and personal details.
- Contact details: Editable address details.
- Category: Updates in the category require a recent category certificate and PwD status certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Educational qualification details: Changes can be made to the passing year and school board name in the mark sheet.
- Date of birth.
- Choice of exam cities: Candidates can select or modify four cities according to their preferences.
