The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the window for raising objections against the provisional answer key of the Joint Central Scientific and Industrial Research–University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (Joint CSIR-UGC NET) December 2023 today. Candidates who appeared in the CSIR UGC NET December 2023 exam can raise their challenges against the answer key by visiting the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

To facilitate the review process, candidates can download the answer key, question paper, and response sheet from the aforementioned official website. The examination took place across 356 centers located in 176 cities.

It must further be noted that candidates wishing to challenge specific answers will incur a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The exam covered five subjects – life sciences, chemical sciences, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, and earth sciences, with each paper being of 200 marks.

The CSIR-UGC NET serves the dual purpose of selecting recipients for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) scholarship and evaluating candidates' eligibility for lectureships. The examination was conducted in both Hindi and English languages.

CSIR NET Answer Key: How to raise objections?

1. Visit the CSIR UGC NET official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

2. Access the challenge window and enter the application number and date of birth.

3. Click on "View Question Paper" to review marked responses and challenge the answer keys.

4. Choose the "Click to view/Challenge Answer Key" link.

5. Sequentially displayed Question IDs will be presented.

6. To challenge an option, select one or more Option IDs by clicking the checkboxes in the next four columns.

7. Upload supporting documents and save your claim.

8. Pay the objection fees for each challenged question.

9. Submit and save the confirmation page
