How to Download Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2024 Results

  1. Visit the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in
  2. Click on the link titled ‘Cut-off of Joint CSIR-UGC NET Result June 2024’ or ‘Joint CSIR-UGC NET Result June 2024’.
  3. A PDF document with the results will appear on the screen.
  4. View and download the CSIR NET result and scorecard for future reference.

A total of 1,963 candidates have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) under category 1, making them eligible for assistant professor positions as well. Additionally, 11 students have qualified solely for JRF. Under the University Grants Commission (UGC) JRF scheme, 1,875 candidates have cleared the test and are now also eligible for assistant professor roles.

In category 2, which covers assistant professorship and PhD admissions, 3,172 candidates have been declared qualified. Furthermore, 10,969 candidates have successfully met the criteria under category 3, which is specifically for PhD admissions.

While announcing the CSIR NET June 2024 results, the Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) clarified that the marks obtained in category 2 and category 3 will remain valid for PhD admissions for one year from the result declaration date. For PhD admissions, universities will follow a combined merit system, giving 70% weightage to NET marks and 30% to interview or viva voce performance.

The CSIR NET June 2024 results have been released in percentile format along with individual marks to aid in the PhD admission process.
