BSEB Bihar DElEd Admission 2023 Now Accepting Applications, Check Details Inside!

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially commenced the online application process for the DElEd admission programme, offered at various training institutes across the state. Prospective candidates, who have successfully cleared the Bihar DElEd entrance examination for the year 2023, must visit the official website deledbihar.com and complete the Common Application Form (CAF). Please note that the deadline for applications is November 5, 2023.

Important Dates:

• First Merit List is to be released on November 11, 2023.
• Admission schedule is from November 13 to 18, 2023.
• Seat updation by institutes to be done until November 21, 2023.
• Application for slide up by candidates post admission is to be made from November 11 to 18, 2023.
• Second Merit List option modification period is from November 21 to 22, 2023.
• Second Merit List announcement is to be made on November 26, 2023.
• Admission under Second Merit List is to be done on November 27 and November 28, 2023.
• Third Merit List is to be released on December 1, 2023.
• Admission under Third Merit List is to be done from December 2 to 4, 2023.

Application Fee:

For candidates belonging to the general, EWS, BC, and EBC categories, the application fee stands at ₹500, whereas SC, ST, and Divyang candidates are required to pay ₹350.

Eligibility Criteria:

• In addition to securing pass marks in the Bihar DElEd entrance examination, applicants must possess a minimum of 50 per cent (45 per cent for reserved categories) marks in Class 12. It is important to note that candidates with qualifications in Sashtri, Polytechnic, or ITI are not eligible for DElEd admissions. However, those who have successfully completed Class 12 Vocational, Madhyama, or Fauquania exams are deemed eligible.

• Candidates should have attained a minimum age of 17 years by the first day of the initial month of the admission year, i.e., January 1, 2023, to be eligible for DElEd courses.

This year, a notable count of 1,39,141 candidates participated in the DElEd entrance examination. A total of 1,17,037 candidates, accounting for 84.11 per cent, successfully met the qualifying criteria. The examination took place from June 5 to June 15, 2023, across various examination centres in Bihar.
