The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to initiate the counselling process for the All India Quota (AIQ) NEET undergraduate 2024 medical seats soon. Earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) informed the Supreme Court that the process would commence on July 6. Detailed notifications and the schedule will be released on mcc.nic.in.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply on the MCC Website
- Visit the official website at mcc.nic.in.
- On the UG counselling page, find the NEET UG counselling schedule under the “eservices/Schedule” tab.
- Apply for online counselling.
- Register to receive login details.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload necessary documents and complete the payment process.
- Submit the form.
The NTA announced that the NEET re-test would be conducted on June 23, with results expected by June 30 to enable the counselling process to start on July 6. The exam proceeded, and results were declared as planned.
The NEET re-test on June 23 was conducted for 1563 candidates who experienced time loss during the previous exam. Out of these, 813 eligible candidates appeared for the re-test.
The MCC NEET counselling consists of 15 percent All India Quota seats and all seats of central universities (including Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, University of Delhi, and the Faculty of Dentistry at Jamia Milia Islamia), as well as seats in colleges under the Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.
State authorities will handle the online counselling for state quota seats.
