The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) announced the initiation of the MAHCET 2024 LLB 5-Year application process, unveiling the Information Brochure on January 16, 2024. Prospective candidates can delve into the comprehensive guide to the exam, as the application window opens on January 18, with submissions accepted until February 18.

Aspirants are urged to acquaint themselves with the MAH-LLB 5-Year CET 2024 examination schedule, set for May 5, 2024. Notably, the application fee stands at ₹1000 for Open Category, EWS Candidates from Maharashtra State, outside Maharashtra State (OMS)/ All India Candidates across all categories and J&K Migrant Candidates.

For candidates falling under backward class categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT-1 (B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC, and SBC] in Maharashtra State, with valid caste and Non-Creamy Layer Certificates up to March 31, 2025 (for DT-VJ, NT1, 2,3, OBC & SBC Candidates), the CET fee is ₹800. Orphan & Transgender candidates are also subject to an ₹800 fee.

The MAH-LL.B. 5 Year CET- 2024 examination venues span selected cities in Maharashtra and extend beyond the state borders. Aspiring candidates must note that the exam features no negative marking, and the duration is set at 2 hours. The question paper will be available in English and Marathi, with a mock test link provided for candidates to practice the online CET.
