According to the CFA Institute, the August 2024 Level I CFA exam results were emailed to candidates on October 8, 2024, after 9:00 AM ET (equivalent to 6:30 PM IST). The official website reads: "August 2024 Level I CFA exam results are being emailed to candidates on October 8 after 9:00 ET".

Looking ahead, the CFA Institute has scheduled the CFA Level I November 2024 exams to take place from November 13 to 19, 2024. Results for the August 2024 Level II CFA exam will be emailed on October 10, while the CFA Level III August 2024 results will be released on October 17. Earlier this year, the CFA Institute introduced a mandatory Practical Skills Module (PSM) requirement for Level I and Level II candidates.
CFA Level 1 August Results 2024 Exam Format
The CFA Level I exam comprises 180 multiple choice questions, split across two sessions lasting 135 minutes each. Candidates were offered an optional break between the sessions. Each session contained 90 MCQs, and candidates had 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete the questions.

Understanding the CFA Level 1 August Results 2024
When checking the CFA results, focus on the thin solid grey line (—), which represents the Minimum Passing Score (MPS). If the score, indicated by a thick grey line, lies above the MPS line, you have passed. A score below the MPS means a failed attempt. The light blue box around your score line represents a 90% confidence interval.
