The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Central Railway (CR) commenced the application process for the recruitment of various apprentice vacancies on 16 July under the Apprentices Act 1961. Interested and eligible candidates must visit the official website and apply for the posts.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 2,424 apprentice vacancies in the department. The official notification for the RRC CR Apprentice 2024 was released on 16 July 2024, marking the beginning of the application process. Candidates will be able to register for RRC CR apprentice recruitment 2024 till 15 August upto 5 pm.
To be eligible, applicants must have passed their Class 10 examination with at least 50% marks. They also need to hold a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
The age limit must be between 15 and 24 years. There is a 5-year age relaxation for SC and ST candidates, and a 3-year relaxation for OBC candidates. The key date for determining age eligibility is 15 July 2024.
An application fee of Rs 100 is mandatory for candidates from the General, EWS, and OBC categories. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, PWD categories, and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
