The 21-year Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10, 12 result data is now accessible online. In 2016, the CBSE Board introduced the market's first online library of digital academic documents.
The Digilocker platform from NAD has been connected with the repository. According to the CBSE, "At this time, result data of Class 10 & 12 examinees from 2001 to 2022 is available online for digital document download by students and verification by companies and further educational institutions."
Every single one of these documents has a digital signature and a PKI-based QR code for authentication. A specially created smartphone application can be used to verify these documents, according to the board. The CBSE is also providing API to government employers and institutions of higher education for mass verification, as needed.
According to the CBSE Board, around 35 lakh students sit for the CBSE Board exams each year. Currently, the universities ask the CBSE to review the admissions documents because the board has 16 regional offices. They no longer need to submit a request to CBSE, it stated. They can register online and complete the verification at apisetu.gov.in, it advised.
