Revised CTET 2024 Exam Schedule

The CTET 2024, originally slated for December 1, will now take place on December 15, 2024. This shift allows candidates more time to prepare for the exam, which is crucial for obtaining teaching positions in schools affiliated with the CBSE board or state boards following the CBSE curriculum. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – Paper I for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V and Paper II for those aiming to teach classes VI to VIII.

In case number of candidates is more in any city, the exam may also be conducted on 14th December, 2024 ”, the official notification stated.

It must be noted by the applicants that all existing registration deadlines and examination slot timings will remain unchanged. Only the exam dates have been postponed. With the registration process ongoing, candidates will be able to submit their applications by October 16 until 11.59 PM. The second paper will be conducted from 9.30 AM to noon, and the first one from 2.30 PM to 5 PM, as previously scheduled.
