Summary
Candidates are supposed to report 30 minutes before the commencement of exams.
Candidates should avoid carrying any electronic gadgets, such as mobile phones, pen drives, smartwatches and other prohibited items, inside the examination hall/room. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the CBSE Class 12 Physics (theory) exam today, 6 March 2023. The examinations will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Additionally, the CBSE 10th board exam for Home Science and multi-skill foundation courses is also scheduled to be held today.

Candidates are supposed to report 30 minutes before the commencement of exams. Students will get an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper.

Students must note, they are only allowed to carry their CBSE board admit card 2023, school ID and permissible stationery items.

Candidates should avoid carrying any electronic gadgets, such as mobile phones, pen drives, smartwatches and other prohibited items, inside the examination hall/room.

CBSE Class 12 board exam 2023: Physics paper pattern

The CBSE 12th board physics paper will consist of 35 questions divided into five sections: Sections A, B, C, D and E. Students will be given 3 hours to solve the question paper. There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in section B, C, D and E. A student has to attempt only one of the choices in such questions.

  • Section A includes eighteen MCQs of 1 mark each
  • Section B contains seven questions of two marks each
  • Section C has five questions of three marks each
  • Section D contains three long questions of five marks each
  • Section E contains two case study-based questions of 4 marks each.
