The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 compartment exams from today, July 15.
The CBSE Class 12 compartment exams 2024 will be held for all subjects in a single day, while CBSE Class 10 supplementary exams 2024 will continue until July 22.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the CBSE class 10 and class 12 compartment exams from today, July 15. The CBSE class 12 compartment exams 2024 will be held for all subjects in a single day, while CBSE class 10 supplementary exams 2024 will continue until July 22. Students who have registered for the CBSE compartment exams 2024 will have to carry the admit card and school ID to the exam hall.

CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Exam Schedule 2024

  • July 15, Monday (10.30AM to 1.30PM): Social Science
  • July 16, Tuesday (10.30AM to 1.30PM): Hindi Course A and Hindi Course B
  • July 18, Thursday (10.30AM to 1.30PM): Science
  • July 19, Friday (10.30AM to 1.30PM): Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic
  • July 20, Saturday (10.30AM to 1.30PM): English Communicative and English Language & Literature
  • July 22, Monday (10.30AM to 1.30PM): Urdu Course A, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Manipuri, Malayalam, Odia, Kannada, Assamese, Arabic, Tibetan, French, Nepali, Lepcha, Home Science, Kokborok, Bodo, Sanskrit Communicative, Sanskrit, and Urdu Course B

After the conduct of the compartment exams, the Board will then send the answer sheets for the evaluation process. Students can expect the release of CBSE Compartment Result 2024 for class 10 and 12, tentatively, in the first week of August 2024.

How to Download CBSE Class 10 and 12 Compartment Result 2024 (when released)

  1. Visit either of the official websites – results.cbse.nic.in or www.cbse.gov.in.
  2. The CBSE Result 2024 Class 10 or Class 12 login page will appear.
  3. In the input fields, enter CBSE 10th/ 12th roll number and school number.
  4. Verify details and click on ‘Submit’.
  5. View CBSE 10th/ 12th Compartment Result 2024.
  6. Download and take a clear print of CBSE Compartment Result 2024 for Class 10 and 12.

According to the eligibility criteria, CBSE class 10 students will be able to improve scores in two subjects, and class 12 students will be allowed to improve their score in one subject. Those who were declared pass by replacing the 6th or 7th subject will also be allowed to appear in the failed subject. Students who have been declared pass in all subjects but have applied for improvement in subjects will also be taking the exam today.

A total of 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment in class 12, and 1,32,337 students were declared failed in class 10 results.
