The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to commence teh registration for students of Class 9 and Class 11 appearing in the 2025 board exams today i.e. on 18 September. CBSE-affiliated schools can get their students registered on the official website- cbse.gov.in.
As per the official notice, the deadline to submit the registration form for the students of Class 9 and Class 11 without a late fee is 16 October. While the last date with late fee is till 24 October 2024. Candidates will be required to pay the registration fees as per the board's guidelines. Class 9 students need to pay a registration fee of Rs 300, while Class 10 students are required to pay Rs 600.
Only those students will be allowed to appear in classes 10, 12 board exams in the 2025-26 session, whose names and details would be submitted by respective schools. Further, schools are also required to see that the students are not from any unauthorised/ unaffiliated schools and are regularly attending classes in their institution and not registered with some other school education boards in addition to the CBSE.
