The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revealed the practical exam dates for the CBSE Board Exam 2024, specifically for winter-bound schools. These dates apply to both Class 10 and Class 12 students. To access this information, candidates can visit the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
The practical exams and internal assessments for winter-bound schools for the 2023-24 session are scheduled to take place from November 14 to December 14, 2023. All practical exam marks will be uploaded promptly, commencing on the day of the practical tests and concluding by the last day of these tests.
In an effort to ensure a fair and equitable assessment process, the CBSE has advised that Practical Examinations and Project Assessments should be conducted in two or three sessions per day, depending on the available lab infrastructure in schools, especially when the number of students exceeds 30. In the case of Fine Arts, two sessions are recommended for each student.
For Class 10 practical exams, no external examiners will be appointed by the Board, and practical answer books will not be provided. Schools will be responsible for making all necessary arrangements. On the other hand, for the Class 12 practical exams, the Board will appoint external examiners in each school to oversee the tests and project evaluations.
It's important to note that if a school has more than 30 students, practical tests should be conducted in two or three sessions throughout the day, ensuring a comprehensive and impartial evaluation process.
