CBSE Declares Dates and Key Details of Supplementary Exams 2024 for Class 10, 12: Check!

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the dates for the 2024 supplementary exams for class 10 and class 12. The class 10 supplementary exams will start on July 15, while the class 12 supplementary exams will be held on the same day. Detailed date sheets will be available soon on the CBSE's official website, cbse.gov.in.

CBSE has requested schools to submit the list of candidates eligible for the supplementary exams.

Schools must submit the List of Candidates (LOC) through the Pariksha Sangam link. Students categorised under ‘compartment’ from the 2024 regular board exams should contact their respective schools for further instructions. Schools are also responsible for informing their students about the exams and ensuring all eligible students are listed in the LOC.

Additionally, students seeking to improve their performance in two class 10 subjects or one class 12 subject can register. Students who failed to pass the exams in previous attempts will be considered private candidates for their third and final attempt in the 2024 supplementary exams, and they can apply directly through cbse.gov.in.

Fee Structure and Payment Schedule

• Schools based in India: ₹300 per subject (without late fee)
• Schools based in Nepal: ₹1,000 per subject (without late fee)
• Schools based in other countries: ₹2,000 per subject (without late fee)
• Late fee for all schools: Additional ₹2,000

The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, NEFT, RTGS, or SWIFT. The final schedule for fee payment is two days after the LOC finalisation date. The online submission window without a late fee is open from May 31, 2024, to June 15, 2024, and with a late fee from June 16 to June 17, 2024.

CBSE has confirmed that the supplementary exams will adhere to the current CBSE syllabus. Details regarding the issuance of admit cards will be announced later.
