The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to release the class 10 and 12 board results imminently. As the countdown begins, students can get ready to access their mark sheets on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
For those seeking reassurance or clarification regarding their results, CBSE has delineated a meticulous process. Students dissatisfied with their marks will have the opportunity to initiate a verification of their marks, procure a photocopy of their assessed answer books, and, if necessary, petition for a re-evaluation of their answers.
To ensure transparency and fairness, CBSE has laid out a structured timeline. The verification of marks will be available from the fourth to the eighth day post-result declaration. Following this, a five-day window will permit students to request grade verification. Scanned copies of the evaluated answer books will be accessible from the 19th day onwards, with the option for re-evaluation available between the 24th and 25th day.
Please refer to the official schedule given here.
CBSE emphasises that all requests must adhere to the specified deadlines and be made through online channels. Any submissions beyond the stipulated timelines or through offline mediums will be invalid, underscoring the board's commitment to upholding examination integrity.
As the anticipation builds, CBSE will disseminate comprehensive instructions and the precise schedule for applying for mark verification, obtaining evaluated answer book copies, and seeking re-evaluation once the results are officially declared.
The CBSE board exams, spanning from February to April, are set to release results after May 20. Approximately 39 lakh students participated in this year's examinations.
