The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will officially close the registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023, with the deadline ending at 5 PM tomorrow. Aspiring candidates seeking admission to prestigious IIMs and other renowned B-schools across India had the opportunity to register on the official website: iimcat.ac.in.

After the registration window closes, applicants who have submitted the application fee will have a brief window to edit their photograph, signature, and preferred test city. For general category candidates, a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks is required for CAT 2023, while students belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories receive a five percent relaxation in minimum marks. Additionally, final-year undergraduate students are eligible to apply for CAT 2023.

The admit cards for CAT 2023 are set to be available on the official website from October 25 to November 26. The CAT 2023 examination is scheduled for November 26, with three shifts throughout the day.

The CAT 2023 exam will consist of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Candidates will have a total of 120 minutes, with 40 minutes allotted for answering questions in each section. Notably, candidates will not be permitted to switch between sections while answering questions.

IIM Lucknow has announced that tutorials for understanding the test format will be accessible on the CAT website starting October 2023. Finally, the results of CAT 2023 are anticipated to be declared in mid-January 2024, and the scores will be valid for the academic session 2024-25.
